TEDx Georgetown 2012

TEDxGeorgetown 2012 featured a broadly understood concept of “power” as its core theme. Organized by a group of undergraduates in Georgetown University, the event featured high-profile speakers such as Bobby Ghosh (former World Editor of TIME Magazine; currently reporter at Quartz), Wei Jingsheng (Chinese dissident), Maureen Orth (special correspondent for Vanity Fair), and Misty Copeland (ballet dancer for American Ballet Theatre), as well as select student speakers. Given the limited number of seats available for the event, specialized tickets were created for distribution to the Georgetown student population and the general public.
